The Challenge:
Create a brand for NVISION 08 – a conference that would bring together the entire virtual computing industry under one roof for the first time by appealing to the edgy online gaming community as well as professional industry experts, analysts, and scientists. Clearly communicate the benefits of this multifaceted event to different audiences by using separate graphics and tonality. Meet attendance goals by generating awareness for this inaugural event.
The Solution:
Develop a look and feel and messaging strategies for the conference that also fit within existing corporate brand standards and messaging strategies. Burns provided NVIDIA’s internal business units with a promotional toolkit that included an event website, web banners, logos, e-mail templates, advertising templates, and a PowerPoint presentation.
The Results:
Nearly 10,000 gamers, enthusiasts, studio executives, and scientists attended NVISION 08. Survey results provided positive feedback and suggestions for enhancing future events, and the NVIDIA management team deemed this highly complex event a huge success.
