When it comes to seeking medical treatment, many Coloradans don’t know where to go. The emergency room? An urgent care? Or their primary care doctor? And further exacerbating the situation is the often-confusing language used by insurance companies. 

Burns Marketing created a campaign for the Colorado Hospital Association that illustratively explained when people should go here, not there for care. The campaign came to life in more than 60 out-of-home placements across the state. The simple, easy-to-remember call to action, WhereForCare.org, provided clearly written educational content to help people think about medical treatment – before there’s an emergency.

One of the campaign goals was positive press through local news outlets. And CBS Denver helped deliver a positive tick mark in that column with their coverage online and in an evening newscast.
